Elena joined Pittalis Gilchrist in 2008 as a trainee and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant through our training programme. She deals with a variety of businesses advising on accounting and taxation matters.
She has experience in specialist areas such as:
- The preparation of business plans for raising finance either through financial institutions or private investment, and has been involved with applications for SEIS status with HMRC.
- Acting for clients with HMRC investigations, including VAT, taxation and hidden economy cases.
- The complex taxation provisions in reorganisation of businesses, preparing them for sale and the maximum extraction of funds for shareholders.
