John is a graduate of the London School of Economics with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
He joined Price Waterhouse (now PwC) in 1982 and was based at the City of London offices, working on a variety of major plc audits. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1985.
In 1986 he joined his father’s firm and has been involved in its evolution over the years.
His general area of expertise is dealing with complex tax investigations, and tax planning for family owned businesses.
He was on the board of directors of an EU bank from 2008 to 2015 and on the credit committee. This has given him a clear insight into the expectations of banks when considering loan applications, and thereby able to impart this experience when acting for clients.
